This item is in Mint Condition. These Scales knives are really cool. Its use is to weigh a caught fish. The scale is on the blade with a counterweight on the handle. You would hang the fish on the blade until the knife balances. You would read the scale for an accurate weight. Additionally, the counterbalance would also have a secondary use as a knocker, dispatching a fish. 
A nice old one for the collection in really nice condition.
