This item is in Used Condition. This is a Model 9 German Calvary Saber. We believe it to be a Non-Commissioned Officers Saber. These were typically used as dress swords in Parades. Overall a nice saber that shows substantial use. The blade has a very nice cavalry charge scene etching. The handle is nice with no damage to the leather.  The original owner was in the 13th Regiment from Lüneburg. The Portopee has a break in the leather.  The scabbard shows substantial paint loss and some rust.
