This item is in Good but used condition. This is an early and very rare set of cutlery. Typically, these sets were used by early travelers. Its origins can be traced back to early European travel when travel by horse or by horse and coach was about the only way to get around. They were also used on picnics or people who preferred using their own cutlery.
This particular set has two issues.   The leather has shrunk over time and the end cap is slightly loose. Also, the fork does not seat properly when screwed into the sheath. It is slightly set to an angle. This detail can be seen in the photos. Both of these issues can be corrected but brought to your attention. The set is a very rare set and despite the above remarks, displays well and is priced accordingly.
