Scrimshaw work of the Humpback Whale for the series was done by noted Artist Bonnie Shulte.
This single issued knife of an Endangered Species is not numbered and the artist was Ronita. It could be a prototype submitted for the work on the series.
Other singles knives included the Puma, Eagle and American Bison. Most if not all have been removed from the endangered list.The Ivory Micarta handles show darkening on one side from an open box display. The knife is complete with the original box and warranty card.
