This item is in mint condition. At the time, puma acknowledged that this was the finest knife produced by the company. It commemorated the introduction of Christianity in 754 A.D to the village of Frankenberg. The knife was commissioned by Oswald Frankenberg, then the family owner of Puma-Werk. Ivory Carved handles with Engraved brass bolsters and an exquisite oak leaf design on the acid-etched blade. 754 were produced and this one is numbered 327.
This knife has been displayed in the open box position and the green velvet box lining has faded. It still presents well in the box but it should be pointed out. Also, it lacks the outer cardboard shipping box. For these reasons, this knife is priced well below market and is an excellent opportunity to add one to your collection.
