Circa late 1950s-Early 1960s
This item is in Excellent Used Condition. I don’t know much about this knife. I’ve had it in my collection for at least 15 years. I believe it to be authentic and early. I’ve had others tell me that this was their knife in the service. It could be the precursor to the Frogman with the D-Guard. Everything else is the same as too the handle and blade. The knife locks into the sheath using the finger guards. The hilt is loose, either by design to make it easy to lock in place or loose from taking in and out of the sheath. I don’t know. The blade shows use but was not abused. The edge looks original and the saw teeth on the blade are full with little or no wear. All in all, a nice collectible and I am pricing it about what I have in it. It could be worth more or less.
