This item is in Used Condition.  A German Heer ( Army ) Officers Saber from the Third Reich period. The handle is Gold Gilt over Aluminum. The handle shows some gilt loss to the usual places where it rubbed against leather and uniforms. The Red Jeweled eyes to the Lion Head are in place. The scabbard is original paint with some paint loss and does show some rust. These sabers were worn with dress uniforms usually at meetings and party rallies.
