This item is in Mint Condition.  This is the Annual Knife of the Year for 1993 and It is not a serialized knife.  An outstanding design by renowned German Knife maker Peter Herbst.  It is machined from one piece of steel. The handles are Bruyere wood which you commonly see in Pipe Bowls. It is extremely hard wood. and difficult to work with. Each piece of wood is hand-worked for a precise fit to the handle with very close tolerances. You can see the quality of craftsmanship in each knife.

Although not a limited edition with sequential serial numbers, it is not known how many were produced.  It is considered by collectors to be a very rare knife and they seldom come up for sale.
