Control Number 71605
1st Quarter of 1965.
A beautiful example of an early Jaggtaschenmesser.
( Hunting Pocket Knife )
Nearly flawless knife gifted to a young boy by his grandparents 55 years ago.
The remnants of the original price are visible on the blade. It looks to be around 45.50 Deutchsmarks.
Dark Sambar Stag handles are beautiful except for a hairline pin crack on one corner. This is shown in one of the photos. Stress cracks are common near pins do to age and the drying out of the stag.
This knife has been a cherished possession and has been well cared. It is one of the nicest I have seen in quite a while.
