This Contol number should read 27172. All knives produced at Puma during this quarter were not stamped correctly with this number. The first two numbers were reversed. It is a well-known, well-documented error.
This item is in Near Mint Condition. A beautiful knife with light sheath marks. It is missing its sheath and would make a nice replacement or an upgrade to a new owner.
