This item is in Mint Condition.  After 40 years with Puma in Solingen, Heinz Peter Knoop, Master Knife Designer for Puma,  started and ended his remarkable career with the Rüdemann knife.  The Rüdemann 40 is a redesign of his original model. To commemorate his 40th anniversary and his retirement, The Rüdeman was renamed the Rüdemann 40.  The first 40 knives produced had a special serial number assigned and with his lasered signature.  This one is numbered 35 of 40. It is a special knife with enhanced ergonomics, a Certificate, and a Black Wood presentation box.  A very beautiful collector piece.
