This item is in Near Mint Condition. A beautiful Super Set and early set from the late 60s. The blade has a nice deep etch but shows some light staining on the blade near the tip. It is unused with the original edge. There is also some visible rust peeking out from the base of the blade and the finger guard.  Very typical from these old knives. The companion knife is gorgeous and nearly flawless. Bothe the Waidblatt and the companion Jagdnicker have the same Control number.  This is an indication that the companion knife is original to the set. The sheath is in remarkable unused condition. There is no box or warranty card. Overall, a quality set that is getting difficult to find.
