Control Number: None
Pre 1964 model and Circa 1955.
This knife has seen some light use but remains in Excellent Condition.
This knife is a rare and early model of the only knife made by Puma made to be
disassembled for easy cleaning and blade changes.
The chrome-plated aluminum bolsters remain bight and without plate loss that you commonly see on these models. The knife has well-matched India Sambar Stag handles. The leather sheath is nearly perfect with the brass Puma rivet and aluminum blade opener. The secondary saw blade appears to have never been used.
This is a ONE owner knife, purchased by him in Geneva, Switzerland in 1955 while on vacation.
According to him, he used it a couple of times and put it away. Now 83, the owner is parting with one of his most favored treasures.
I have the honor and privilege of selling this rare and beautiful piece for him.
Purchase opportunities are very seldom seen for these models.
